Shikhar Dhawan is an
Indian cricketer who plays for the Indian national cricket team as well as the
Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was born on December 5,
1985, in Delhi, India.
Dhawan is a left-handed opening batsman who is known for his
aggressive strokeplay and his ability to score runs quickly. He made his debut
for the Indian cricket team in 2010 and has since then become one of the most
reliable batsmen in the team across all formats of the game.
